personality

Jerome grew up in Calgary where he developed a late love for exercise when his high school buddy brought him to a gym for the first time. There, the vision popped into his head: “If I get super jacked, I can give random people unsolicited advice about their form!” He never got super jacked (not even regular jacked), so he did the next best thing to fulfill his dream of giving unsolicited advice about exercise: he became a physiotherapist! Now people are willing to spend time getting his advice on purpose. Along the way he realized that he loved working with people and helping them get back to the activities they enjoy.

edge

Jerome began his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary, where he realized that he wanted to work with people, not in a lab. This led him toward pursuing a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy, which he completed at the University of Alberta in 2026. During the program he had a brief stint as a practicum student at the St Albert Leading Edge Clinic, and was ecstatic to learn that he could still be part of the Leading Edge family in his hometown of Calgary. As a fresh grad, he is excited to start expanding his skillset so he can maximize his ability to help people move, feel, and live better.
