personality
Jon grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, spending his childhood playing baseball, swimming, diving, and—most of all—skateboarding. When his dad received a job promotion, the family relocated to Okotoks, Alberta, where Jon still lives today.
Watching his Grandpa battle MS for more than 50 years, and helping him walk and swim to ease pain and improve mobility, sparked Jon’s passion for physical rehabilitation. That passion deepened after Jon suffered a severe disc herniation while working road construction as a heavy equipment operator. His own positive physiotherapy experience became the turning point that set him on the path to becoming a physiotherapist so he could help others facing pain, injury, and disease.
Today, Jon spends his free time with his young family, walking his dog, and practicing archery.
