personality
Nicole grew up in Bloemfontein, South Africa, where she trained completed her schooling and trained as a dancer for many years. She wanted to become a professional ballroom and Latin dancer, but her mother and grandparents wanted her to study something first. She knew she wanted to work with people in the medical field most likely but didn’t know where exactly until her grandparents suggested physiotherapy. She then decided to go for it , and was amazed by how many different fields of physiotherapy there are and how much you could do. Her love for physiotherapy and especially neuro rehabilitation grew every day and she no longer had time for dancing and having children became her top priority along with furthering her career. She has since been in many neuro rehabilitation clinics and positions, has worked in acute ICU care for many years and outpaitient MSK and neuro clinics.
After immigrating to Canada in 2020 and having her second child she decided to start doing pelvic health therapy and has been loving it ever since. She spends most of her free time with her husband and children and is finally starting to settle down and grow her roots in St Albert.
