personality

Nicole grew up in small-town Saskatchewan, where she learned independence early—attending private school at just 13. That experience helped shape her outgoing personality and set the stage for a natural transition into university studies in Physical Education. With a passion for anatomy and exercise, she was drawn to the wide range of opportunities in physiotherapy. While she once dreamed of working with a sports team, her interests evolved into a deep fascination with hand anatomy and rehabilitation, and eventually, a strong focus on spinal injuries.
Helping others reach their physical goals has been a deeply rewarding part of her journey. Driven, energetic, and highly organized, Nicole thrives in the fast-paced rhythm of both clinic life and family life. She brings focus and enthusiasm to every treatment session—whether she’s guiding a patient through recovery or cheering on her kids from the sidelines.
Her background in Lagree and Barry’s Bootcamp reflects her belief that movement is medicine. That same discipline and positivity shine through in her personalized care. Inspired by people who live their passions with consistency, Nicole is committed to making a meaningful impact—both in her physiotherapy practice and through her ongoing support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

edge

Nicole received her Bachelor of Physical Education from University of Manitoba in 2000. This lead to a position at a Physiotherapy clinic in downtown Winnipeg. Having a role in monitoring patient care with exercise, as well as managing the front desk, Nicole knew this was the path she was interested in. She received her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy in 2004 and promptly went on to complete the level1 manual therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. In 2005 she completed the level 1 and 2 Acupuncture for medical professionals from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. She has since completed the Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation accreditation program from the Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain in 2006. She furthered her manual therapy skills in Vancouver through Manual Concepts offered by Curtin University. Nicole has been working part time since having children with a special interest in spinal disorders.

Nicole’s clinical edge lies in her precision spinal care, acupuncture expertise, and her ability to connect deeply with patients. She’s a lifelong learner who continues to advance her manual therapy skills and stays current with the latest research. Whether she’s treating spine injuries or cheering from the sidelines, Nicole brings heart, discipline, and a commitment to helping others live pain-free.
